In the corazon of Santa Ana there is a lot more than meets the average eye. For those of you who are not familiar, there is a place where people from the community get together not for chisme but for amor for the culture of Mexico lindo.

Este place is El Centro Cultural de Mexico where the community is their to support each other in order to grow in rich heritage and culture. Through out the week, this center provides its community with classes anywhere from self-defense to continued education to even guitar lessons. My favorite part of all is the variety of dance opportunities they provide to both children and adults. The danzas are as follows; Ballet Folklorico, Modern dance, Salsa, Cumbia, Danza Azteca, and Son Jarocho.

I love the previous video because the Danza Mesoamericana reminds me of when I use to dance Danza Azteca back in the day. I hope that the video gives some of you some insight on two very distinct dances that have so much flavor and culture.
