Daddy Yankee, Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Daddy Yankee is known for his music styling in reggae or reggaeton.  Reggaeton is a combination of many styles of music.  It a crossing of hip-hop and dance style music.  Reggae is perfect for clubs and event where informal dancing is mandatory.  The song I am reviewing is Lovumba by Daddy Yankee.  My first listen through was the raw music without lyric translation.  My impression was that the song was catchy and the beats were repetitive.  It just made me want to move around.  His voice was smooth like in love songs but at the same time the beats in the background was non-stop.  The second listen through, I listen with the English lyric in front of me.  The lyric was not surprising.  A person could ascertain the theme of the song without understanding the lyric if they are able to focus on the beats and styling.  Having experienced reggaeton before hand will aid in the analyzing the song.  Overall the song was great and worth listening to.
